Product based "Gastrorustic" cooking

The idea of Bicnic is to take the local food that we’ve always enjoyed and modernize it, with a strong focus on the products used, paying close attention to all of the ingredients, quality and flavors. We mix different cooking techniques with meticulous processes to achieve its maximum qualities.

 

We start from our traditional collective cookbook to design unique recipes that combine local ingredients with newly adapted ones to offer dishes of which you can savor every bite, discovering flavors and experiencing new grounds. A journey of flavors for all your senses.

 

In Bicnic we offer surprising but understandable proposals, rich in nuances, balanced and updated according to the season and the products that it offers us.

Our space

Bicnic is a restaurant with different formats: two counter bars, low tables, high tables, a picnic table and, inside the kitchen, the Chef's table. An environment where you can choose the format according to the moment, your mood and the experience that you want: relax seated on a table, eat in an informal way or take some fingerfood.

GASTRONOMY & DESIGN

Bicnic is a project created by the team of the Betlem tapas bar, and the design studio Toormix. It is the coming together of two teams and two creative processes that are different yet complement each other: gastronomy and design. At Bicnic, we combine the professional and creative experience of the team led by our chef Victor Ferrer with the vision of the design agency Toormix which is reflected in the experience, service, conceptualization, food design, and global brand strategy.
